Sustainability Partnerships works to increase awareness, promote informed opinion, and encourage constructive engagement on matters around the climate and ecological emergency. We build close working partnerships to expand and diversify our combined influence.
We are a not-for-profit organisation which exists to raise awareness and promote education about climate change and environmental issues. We work in tandem with young people and a number of partner organisations to foster wider community engagement on these important issues.
A major part of the work of Sustainability Partnerships is to develop platforms which 'give voice' to people on the climate and environmental issues that matter the most to them.
1.5 MAX : Global Schools' Climate Summit

In October 2021, in the run-up to COP26, Sustainability Partnerships along with Learning For Sustainability Scotland and the British Council organised the first 1.5 MAX Global Schools' Climate Summit, a three-day blended-learning event that brought together eleven Scottish schools and four schools from Mozambique, Malawi and Nepal.
The summit was an opportunity for collaborative learning, discussion and activities focused around climate change and related issues.
We believe that 1.5 MAX an important step towards developing a school-centred approach to addressing local climate and sustainability challenges.
